Jest w Pekinie klub, do którego zjeżdża się z ulicy ruchomymi schodami. Wszystko ocieka złotem, złote są nawet pisuary. Gdzieś znalazłem informację, że klub ten dostał w 2009 roku nagrode za ” best nightlife toilets”. Na suficie podwieszone są wielkie obrazy w złotych ramach, kelnerzy chodzą w muszkach, a na scenie tańczą półnagie dziewczyny. Muzyka jest tania, ale jak się nałupiesz dobrze, to można się świetnie bawić. Miejsce to, to Chocolate, ruski klub w ruskiej dzielnicy. Trafiliśmy tam w niedzielę koło północy, na parkiecie tańczyło kilku grubych mężczyzn o azjatyckich rysach, ładna muzułmanka w chuście otoczona przez kilku prawdopodobnie braci i jedna patrząca na mnie z pogardą prostytutka. Z prostytutek Czoklet słynie w całym Pekinie. Miejsce wywiera niesamowite wrażenie, przepych i kicz, bogaci Ruscy w skórach o zakazanych twarzach, każdy wygląda jakby za paskiem miał pistolet, otyłe kobiety palące szisze w półmroku swojej loży, stoły zawalone jedzeniem. Jeszcze tam wrócę, żeby lepiej się przyjrzeć. Pięknych rosjanek ze zdjęć akurat nie było.
Po recenzjach na forum dla obcokrajowców widać, ze jedni miejsce kochają:
„Wow – it was like stepping into another world!

Inni nie rozumieją rosyjskiego rozmachu:
„This place is awful!!!! I also had the same horrendous experiences with the bouncers/ security people. We’ve been there before with no problem, but this time we (2 lovely girls 🙂 got there after 12AM. the security first asked us if we had reservations!!! who has reservations for a club unless there was a comp list, but we all know that in beijing there’s never any lists! What is worse is that the security let many people in after us but would not let us in. If they are checking for prostitutes, we definitely did not look like them. What I don’t understand is that everyone loves a venue that is filled with beautiful girls, the more the better, but it seems to me that some of these places love to full of only nasty guys. The only reason that guys go to these places and spend money is because of the girls!!! which guy wants to go to club just to stare at other guys (unless you are gay). Chocolate itself have many beautiful dancers to entice the audience, so why should they not let us in. And if management can’t understand that people like to look at beautiful girls, including girls themselves, because girls have beautiful form, beautiful lines and beautiful curvature, then they have missed the whole point, and they should consider a new profession. Management should seriously reconsider their strategy!!!”
